The description of the single stage AC-AC converter is provided in the paper. If you can’t get a proper quasi-direct back-to-back converter, this will work instead. This type of converter is called Matrix Converter. A matrix converter which consists of controlled by semiconductor switches, is used to connect a three-phase load to a three-phase source. Sinusoidal input and output waveforms, possible power flow from either direction and no dc link storage parts are features of this converter. The simulation model and its results demonstrate how the Venturini control approach is implemented in matrix converters.

The research examines the use of Flexible AC Transmission System devices to address problems with power quality. Based on this analysis, the linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) with skewed poles was studied to lower thrust ripple and decrease the total noise. Altering the flux path in a skewed pole fashion results in smoother operation and increased efficiency. Conventional and skewed LSRMs are modelled and analyzed with FEA under electromagnetic conditions. The results of simulations show that skewing allows for reduced torque ripple and detent force, without decreasing thrust force. This investigation has demonstrated that skewed poles help improve the motion capability of LSRMs.

This work mainly analyses the behavior of a multiphase transformer using FEM in terms of electromagnetism, under a diverse set of load and fault conditions. FEM is used to model both the unusual geometry and non-linear material properties found in transformer windings and cores. By assessing thermal effects, main loss and flux distribution in detail, the model supports fixing problems and enhancing performance. Experimental results verify that the simulation model predicts the essential aspects of a transformer in actual conditions. Research from this work improves the design of multiphase transformers used in both advanced power systems and industrial applications.

It was investigated how the number of phases in a switched reluctance generator (SRG) affected the electromagnetic torque pulse. They made the computer model. When the ripple frequency is increased to five times, the torque ripples' amplitude decreases to eight times, which is more acceptable in terms of requirements.
